The
Art of Sign Language Dance combines contemporary elements of Classical
Ballet, Lyrical Jazz and Sign Language together to create an extremely
moving art form.
Afet choreographs and performs specialty pieces upon request.
Recently, she choreographed a dance to “Mama” as a tribute to
her mother who has passed away.
Several photographs from the “Mama” piece are displayed on this
web page.
Afet has choreographed and performed a dance to “God Bless the
U.S.A.” as a tribute to those who were killed on that tragic day,
September 11, 2001.
The dance is performed in a simple white unitard and long white
full skirt with red and blue sashes to highlight the beauty of the dance.
Afet is available to create and costume that “special dance”
for your loved one on special occasions.
