ATTENDANCE:
If a student is unable to attend a class he/she may take a makeup
class. Please consult Afet if this occurs and she will tell you which class
you may attend in order to make up for the one(s) you may have missed. You
should call Afet if you know that for certain you will be unable to attend a
class. Classes are small and the studio time is costly. Therefore, out of
respect for the teacher, please call!
5.
COPYRIGHT: Any
choreography given out during class time is the sole property of Afet and is
not to be used unless you have the expressed written permission of Afet.
6.
VISITORS: Visitors are
welcome. However, on a regular basis visitors make some people in the class
uncomfortable. Visitors must
watch behind the glass window in the studio lobby.
7.
DRESS CODE: Leotards and tights are required. I cannot see what the
body is doing if big shirts, and skirts etc. cover it. The gauze skirts are
OK, however, you need to wear tights so that I can see the legwork. The skirt
must be tucked so that I may see what the legs are doing!
Half tops OK. NO JEANS. NO
SHORTS unless with footless tights. After,
the first two weeks of class you are required to purchase a hip scarf and a
veil for class. As class
progresses you will be asked to purchase finger cymbals (zills), tambourines,
canes, tan sandelsoles, etc.
